🌿 About Me – Cloud Reflexology

With an ITEC Reflexology Diploma and an IIHT Diploma in Indian Head Massage, my work is rooted in a lifelong passion for health and nutrition. I am continuously inspired by the profound effect these treatments have on my clients. Both reflexology and Indian head massage are powerful, restorative therapies that reliably bring deep relaxation, encourage healing within the body and restore mental, physical and hormonal balance. In today’s hectic world I feel that it is essential to take time for yourself and with these therapies I am able to provide my clients with a renewed sense of wellbeing whilst opening up channels of energy to encourage the body to heal itself.

Alongside my holistic practice, I am also a Spanish teacher, having taught for many years in an independent boarding school before choosing to work more flexibly with private students both online and in person. Teaching remains a joyful and rewarding part of my life, and I love supporting learners in a bespoke way that suits their individual needs.

I am married with two grown-up children, and our family story is deeply connected to southern Spain, where, 22 years ago, we bought and lovingly restored a ruin in the hills of Andalucía. We lived there for 6 years but still return to our finca often as it is a supremely peaceful place surrounded by nature, quiet, and the rhythms of rural life. That connection to tranquillity and natural beauty continues to shape the way I work, and the calm environment I aim to create for every client.

Cloud Reflexology brings together everything I value: wellbeing, balance, connection, and the gentle power of therapeutic touch.

🌿How Reflexology Works

Reflexology is thought to work by stimulating connective tissue networks (fascia )that link the feet to organs, glands, and body systems. Connective tissue forms a continuous web throughout the body, wrapping muscles, surrounding organs, and linking everything from the skin to the deepest structures.

When pressure is applied to reflex points on the feet:

  • Connective tissue pathways transmit signals through the fascia.

  • These signals travel along lines of tension and communication that correspond to different organs and systems.

  • The body responds by relaxing, improving circulation, reducing stress, and supporting natural healing processes.

  • Because fascia is continuous, a change in one area in the foot can influence distant areas like the digestive system, lungs, or endocrine glands.

Indian Head Massage

🌿 A brief history of Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage, traditionally known as Champissage, has been practised in India for over 1,000 years. It began as a family tradition, with techniques passed down through generations to promote relaxation, healthy hair, and overall wellbeing. Nowadays it is widely practiced as a method of relieving the stresses and strains of modern living and promoting an overall sense of wellbeing and relaxation. It combines extremely well with Reflexology and you will leave feeling rejuvenated and fully rested.

Testimonials

Through reflexology treatments, Kirstie helped me to return to my normal sleep patterns. The treatment was soothing and effective and Kirstie has a very calming way of working in a relaxing environment - Jill

I had at least 10 treatments from Kirstie and I really enjoyed them all. I felt so calm and relaxed and particularly liked the fact that she explained which reflex points connected to which parts of the body. She was able to identify my sinus and lymphatic drainage problems and worked on those areas to provide relief. She is gentle and knowledgeable and is an excellent reflexologist. I highly recommend her - Lea
